Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh, Vishnu Deo Sai, joined thousands of people in Jashpur district headquarters to celebrate International Yoga Day. He extended greetings and best wishes to everyone on this occasion. He acknowledged Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s efforts in establishing the significance of yoga on the global stage, particularly his initiative at the United Nations General Assembly in 2014, which led to its worldwide recognition. He further mentioned that since 2015, June 21st is celebrated as World Yoga Day, and it is a matter of pride that yoga resonates in 175 countries, including the UN General Assembly. The CM participated in yoga along with other public representatives, school children, general citizens, officers, and employees. Various asanas, including Chakrasana, Ardha Chakrasana, Kapal Bhati, Anulom-Vilom, Pranayama, and Vajrasana, were performed under the guidance of yoga instructors.
