The state government has appointed selected young professionals to various government departments under the Chief Minister’s Good Governance Fellowship (CMGGF) scheme. An order in this regard has been issued by the ministry. According to the released order, a total of 36 young individuals have been assigned postings in different departments. The CM Good Governance Fellowship scheme was initiated to strengthen good governance-related initiatives in the state. The two-year course of the scheme is divided into eight stages. In the first stage of the scheme, a one-month academic session on public policy was conducted for the selected young professionals by IIM Raipur. Subsequently, under the second phase of the scheme, the fellows were posted in departments starting August 18, 2025. They will not only gain a deeper understanding of government work but will also contribute to the implementation of developmental policies and programs. The Department of Good Governance and Convergence is the nodal department for this scheme.
