During the silver jubilee celebration of the Chhattisgarh High Court, Governor Ramechandra Deka emphasized the court’s critical role as a protector of citizens’ rights and a vigilant guardian of justice. He stressed the importance of making justice accessible to the rural populace, the underprivileged, and the general public to ensure the court’s relevance in a democratic system. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai echoed this sentiment, highlighting the government’s commitment to providing timely justice through infrastructure development and resource allocation. A commemorative souvenir was released during the event. The celebration, held on Saturday, featured the Governor as the chief guest, with dignitaries participating in the lighting of the lamp to mark the occasion. Judges of the High Court presented the Governor, Chief Minister, and Union Minister of State Tokhan Sahu with plants and mementos. Deputy Chief Ministers Arun Sao and Vijay Sharma, along with other ministers and former Governor Ramesh Bais, were also in attendance.
