A horrific incident has come to light in the Civil Lines police station area of Korba district, Chhattisgarh, where a 13-year-old boy stands accused of sexually assaulting a two-and-a-half-year-old child. The incident unfolded when the victim’s mother discovered the alleged perpetrator in the act and immediately apprehended him. The police were notified, and the juvenile offender was arrested and presented before the Child Welfare Committee. The incident occurred in the Rampur area under the Civil Lines police station. The victim’s family resided in a rented accommodation in the area. The mother of the child works at a hospital. She returned from work on Friday to find her son alone in the room. Upon entering, she witnessed the landlord’s 13-year-old son committing the assault on her two-and-a-half-year-old child. The mother promptly intervened, captured the accused, and alerted the neighbors. The police were then called. The landlord’s behavior following the incident has drawn further condemnation.
