Raipur, July 06, 2025/ Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai said that the Chhattisgarh government is committed to bringing every corner of the state into the mainstream of development. He said that the state government is working with full commitment to implement the policies and resolutions of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on the ground. Continuous efforts are being made to establish good governance by closing all avenues of corruption. The Chief Minister said that many schemes are being implemented rapidly to connect rural areas with strong infrastructure and basic facilities.
Chief Minister Shri Sai was addressing the Mahtari Alankaran Samman समारोह in Pandaria assembly constituency through virtual medium today. He said that the initiative to make Pandaria area prosperous, strong and developed has started. In this direction, many schemes and development works are being approved and implemented.
The Chief Minister made several important announcements on this occasion. He announced the establishment of a new sub-tehsil in Ranveerpur, starting a college in Birendra Nagar from the next academic session, a new 250-seater Nalanda complex in Pandaria, a new building for the college in Kunda and the construction of a new municipal building in Pandaria. Apart from this, the 2.1 km road of National Highway-130 A will be widened and upgraded to 4 lanes.
In the program, the लोकार्पण and bhoomipujan of infrastructure development works constructed at a cost of Rs 72 crore was also completed by the Chief Minister. He informed that Atal Digital Suvidha Kendra has been established in 1,460 gram panchayats so far to expand banking facilities in rural areas and this facility will be provided to all the panchayats in the next one year. The registration process has been made simple, transparent and less expensive so that the common citizens do not have to face any difficulty.
Chief Minister Shri Sai, while appreciating the efforts of the local MLA Smt. Bhavna Bohra, said that the launch of 5 free bus services for girl students is not just a facility, but a historic step towards the self-confidence and empowerment of daughters. With this, the girl students will not face any kind of problem in coming and going to college.
Addressing the कार्यक्रम, विधानसभा अध्यक्ष Dr. Raman Singh said that today is a historic day for Pandaria, when the development works worth Rs 72 crore are being inaugurated and 5 free buses are being started for the daughters. This is a unique initiative of its kind in Chhattisgarh.
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Vijay Sharma said that development in the state is no longer limited to urban areas, but is reaching equally in every village and area. The coming time will be a new chapter of Chhattisgarh’s progress.
Lok Sabha MP Shri Santosh Pandey said that this initiative will prove to be important for the education and empowerment of daughters. The free bus facility will give more support to the girl students in realizing their dreams.
Local MLA Smt. Bhavna Bohra said that earlier 3 free buses were being operated, which have now been increased to 8. This service will be a support for the girl students studying in the colleges of Pandaria, Pandatarai, Piparia, Sahaspur Lohara and Kawardha. She said that in the last one and a half years, the Pandaria assembly constituency has received approval for schemes worth more than Rs 600 crore. Harinala bridge, bypass and many awaited works have now gained momentum.
