A tragic accident occurred on the Katghora-Ambikapur National Highway in Chhattisgarh. A speeding pickup truck collided with a motorcycle on Saturday night, resulting in the death of one person at the scene. Two others sustained serious injuries.
The accident took place in the Tanaakhar area of the Katghora police station jurisdiction. The pickup truck, traveling at high speed, struck the motorcycle around 11-12 PM on Saturday night. The impact caused the immediate death of one youth, while two others were critically injured.
The injured were taken to the Katghora hospital with the help of Dial 112. After receiving initial treatment, they were referred to the district hospital. Police, who arrived at the scene promptly, arrested the pickup truck driver.
