The Chhattisgarh Pavilion became a center of attraction on the first day of the World Expo 2025 held in Osaka, Japan. Over 22,000 visitors experienced the unique glimpses of Chhattisgarh’s heritage, industry, and tourism on the opening day. Chhattisgarh is actively participating under the India Pavilion from August 24 to 30, 2025, at the invitation of the Indian Trade Promotion Organization (ITPO) of the Government of India. The grand pavilion was formally inaugurated today. The natural landmark of Chhattisgarh, the Chitrakote Falls, also caught everyone’s attention. Being the widest waterfall in India, it is known as the Niagara of India.
The pavilion is designed to provide visitors with a vibrant experience. Chhattisgarh’s cultural richness, industrial strength, and tourism potential are beautifully interwoven in the pavilion. It acquaints the global audience with Chhattisgarh’s development journey and future possibilities. Nava Raipur, the country’s first greenfield smart city, which has been prepared for investment and industrial progress, was a special center of attraction here.
