An unsettling incident involving a tantric ritual has come to light in Durg district, Chhattisgarh. At a government school in Borsi, unidentified individuals performed a ritual that included the sacrifice of a bird. The school staff and students are reportedly shaken by the event.
On the morning of September 5th, as the school opened, teachers and students discovered a gruesome scene in front of the staff room door. A bloodied bird, along with lemons, vermilion, and a rangoli design, were present. The sight caused considerable fear among those present. To counteract the perceived negative effects of the ritual, the school authorities summoned a local ‘baiga’ (traditional healer) who performed a puja with lemons and incense sticks.
Following the discovery, a complaint was lodged with the Padmanabhpur police station. The police have begun reviewing CCTV footage from the vicinity of the Higher Secondary School in an attempt to identify the perpetrators. The identity of the tantric and those who performed the ritual remains unknown at this time.
