A significant step has been taken to boost infrastructure in Chhattisgarh. Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai met with Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, during which several crucial road projects in the state were approved. The Union Minister directed officials to expedite the financial approval of ongoing projects worth over ₹7,000 crore in Chhattisgarh.
In addition, ₹600 crore was sanctioned under the Central Road Fund (CRF). This will pave the way for the construction and upgrade of numerous roads in Chhattisgarh. Four major bridges will be built to ease traffic congestion in Raipur, with groundbreaking ceremonies to be held soon. Furthermore, roads connecting Raipur to other districts will be expanded from two to four lanes, enhancing traffic flow and safety.
