For the purpose of promoting inclusive education, a smartphone training program for visually impaired children has been organized under the joint aegis of overall education, Raipur and M. Junction, Kolkata. The first phase of this training held in two phases at Thakur Pyarelal Panchayat Rural and Development Institute, Nimora was concluded today on 26 April 2025. The second phase will be held from 28 to 30 April.
Seema Gaurha from overall education, Assistant Director said that typing from the use of the board and enabling children in written examination, downloading the textbook in soft copy by using the smartphone in soft copy, removing the problem of children through digital education through digital education and connecting children from online library through bookshare. Work is being done under these objectives.
In the first phase, BRP as a total of 40 visible and collaborative from 15 districts. (Inclusive education) and special educators were present.
