Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai inaugurated the poster and official website of “Make-in-Silicon: National Symposium on Enabling Indigenous Semiconductor Infrastructure” at the Chief Minister’s residence office in Raipur. This symposium is an initiative to give a new direction to the semiconductor mission in India and to strengthen indigenous technical capabilities in the country.
Prof. Omprakash Vyas, Director of Triple IT-Naya Raipur, informed the Chief Minister that this national symposium will be held on November 7-8, 2025, at Triple IT-Naya Raipur. Experts, industry representatives, educationists and policy-makers from across the country will participate in it. The objective of the symposium is to create a concrete strategy to strengthen India’s domestic semiconductor system.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that Chhattisgarh will contribute to the National Semiconductor Mission with full commitment. He said that the youth, educational institutions and industries will have to innovate together and play a leadership role. According to him, indigenous semiconductor infrastructure is the foundation of India’s digital and economic strength. This event is in line with the Government of India’s “Semiconductor India Mission” and the Chhattisgarh government’s vision of technical self-reliance. The Chief Minister said that such efforts will prepare the youth to compete at the global level.
On this occasion, convener Dr. Manoj Majumdar, Dr. Deepika Gupta and members of the organizing committee were present.
