In Chhattisgarh, the long-awaited expansion of the Vishnu Deo Sai cabinet has occurred. Three MLAs took the oath of office today. Gajendra Yadav from Durg division, Guru Khushwant Saheb from Raipur division, and Rajesh Agarwal from Sarguja division took the oath of office and secrecy. Gajendra Yadav was the first to take the oath, adding his father’s name to his own. Following him, Guru Khushwant Saheb, MLA from Arang, took the oath. Finally, Rajesh Agarwal, MLA from Sarguja, took the oath of office. After the swearing-in ceremony, all three new ministers met with Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai and offered their best wishes.
The Chief Minister stated, “Congratulations and best wishes to the new members of my cabinet, Gajendra Yadav, Guru Khushwant Saheb, and Rajesh Agarwal, who took the oath today. I am fully confident that all the ministers will serve the public with full dedication and create a golden chapter of development and good governance.” Chief Minister Sai expressed confidence that the newly appointed ministers will work with their dedicated loyalty and efficiency for public service and provide new dimensions to the state of Chhattisgarh in the direction of development and good governance. Wishing a bright tenure for all the ministers, Chief Minister Sai said that the state government will continuously strive to fulfill the aspirations of the public through collective cooperation and commitment.
The departments will be allocated to the three ministers this afternoon. Some changes will also be made in the departments of some ministers. Also, departments like education, which are with the Chief Minister, will be distributed to other ministers.
It is speculated that Guru Khushwant Saheb may be given the responsibility of the Department of Religion, Culture, and Tourism. Gajendra Yadav may be given the Department of Education, Higher Education, and Technical Education. It is likely that Ambikapur MLA Rajesh Agarwal will be given the Department of Transport and Mineral Resources.
