Chief Minister Shri Sai called ‘Chintan Shivir 2.0’ a strong platform for policy-making
Ministers learned the nuances of good governance and leadership at IIM Raipur

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai has said that training sessions like ‘Chintan Shivir 2.0’ provide an opportunity to the government to strengthen the new approach and policy-making process. He said that such events provide an opportunity for the ministers to learn the important aspects of good governance and transformative leadership.
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai and all the ministers of the state attended the first session of the two-day Chintan Shivir organized at IIM Raipur. In this session, in-depth discussions were held on topics like ‘Transformative Leadership’, ‘Visionary Governance’, ‘Culture’, ‘Good Governance’ and ‘Nation Building’.
Prof. Himanshu Rai, Director, IIM Indore, in his lecture on the topic of ‘Transformative Leadership and Visionary Governance’, highlighted selfless action and ethical administration through the verses of the Bhagavad Gita. He said that work should be done not only with the hope of results, but because it is the right thing to do.
Dr. Vinay Sahasrabuddhe, former President of the Indian Council for Cultural Relations, while expressing his views on the topic of ‘Culture, Good Governance and Nation Building’, said, “India’s unity is not only geographical, but also cultural and spiritual. Nation building is possible not only through policies or resources, but through cultural awareness and moral values.” Emphasizing the importance of Antyodaya, he described the welfare of the last person in the society as the priority of good governance.
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai said that events like Chintan Shivir give a new direction and energy to the government. He described the views of both the expert speakers as highly inspiring and useful for policy-making.
On this occasion, the Secretary to the Chief Minister Shri Rahul Bhagat, Special Secretary of the Department of Good Governance and Convergence Shri Rajat Bansal, Director of the Indian Institute of Management Raipur Shri Ram Kakani and all the ministers were present.
