    Raipur, June 7, 2025 / Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai today attended the assumption of office and felicitation ceremony of the newly appointed President of Chhattisgarh State Beverages Corporation, Shri Srinivas Maddy, as the chief guest at Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium located in Raipur. On this occasion, he extended his best wishes to Mr. Maddy for his new responsibility.

    Addressing the program, Chief Minister Shri Sai said that Mr. Maddy has been socially active for a long time and has a deep experience of working in various positions. I believe that his experience will prove useful in strengthening the work of the State Beverages Corporation. Shri Sai said that our government is bringing transparency in government works through many innovations.

    Chief Minister Shri Sai said that our government is working with full commitment for the establishment of peace and development in Bastar. Along with the eradication of Naxalism, we are accelerating the work of infrastructure and tourism development in Bastar, so that new opportunities for self-employment can be obtained by the local people. We have recently started providing two good breeds of cows to tribal families through the Milch Animal Scheme, which will increase milk production in the state and increase the income of farmers and livestock farmers.

    Chief Minister Shri Sai mentioned the important discussions held regarding the development of the state during his visit to Delhi with Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah. He said that there was a meaningful discussion with the Prime Minister about irrigation projects in Bastar and the ambitious initiative to connect Indravati and Mahanadi. He said that along with the development of Bastar, this will prove to be a decisive step in the construction of a developed Chhattisgarh.

    Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh said that Mr. Srinivas’s long experience in social life will definitely benefit the Beverages Corporation. He had earlier got an opportunity to work as the President of the Forest Development Corporation and he performed his duties well. On this occasion, he congratulated and wished Mr. Maddy for his new responsibilities. On this occasion, Jagdalpur MLA Shri Kiran Dev also addressed and extended his best wishes.

    Forest Minister Shri Kedar Kashyap, Health Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, Revenue Minister Shri Tankram Verma, MP Smt. Rupkumari Choudhary, MP Shri Mahesh Kashyap, MP Shri Bhojraj Nag, MLA Shri Rajesh Munat, MLA Shri Motilal Sahu, MLA Shri Asharam Netam, MLA Shri Chaitram Atami, MLA Shri Vinayak Goyal, MLA Shri Dharamlal Kaushik, Chairmen of various corporations, Managing Director of Chhattisgarh State Beverages Corporation Shri Shyam Dhawde, officers and employees of the Excise Department and a large number of dignitaries including public representatives were present in the program.
