Modern ambulance provided at a cost of Rs 19.65 lakh from DMF, emergency health services will get new strength

Raipur / Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai today gifted a free ambulance to the people of Dharsiwa Assembly constituency from his official residence in the capital Raipur. The Chief Minister performed puja rituals, flagged off the ambulance, and handed over the keys to the ambulance driver in the presence of MLA Shri Anuj Sharma and health department officials. On this occasion, he said that the objective of the state government is to provide timely, accessible, and quality health services to every citizen of the state. In line with this thinking, health infrastructure is being continuously strengthened in the state so that people can get prompt medical assistance in any emergency.

Chief Minister Shri Sai congratulated and extended best wishes to the citizens of Dharsiwa Assembly constituency, stating that the initial moments of treatment are extremely important for any patient. Reaching the hospital on time can save lives in many critical situations. He expressed confidence that this new ambulance will play an important role in quickly transporting pregnant women, seriously ill patients, the elderly, and those injured in road accidents or other accidental events to health institutions. He said that this facility will not only make medical services more effective but also strengthen the confidence of health security among the local residents.

Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the state government is continuously working for the expansion of health services in both rural and urban areas. Many important initiatives are being taken towards upgrading hospitals, providing modern medical equipment, appointing specialist doctors, ensuring easy availability of medicines, and strengthening emergency health services. He stated that healthy citizens are the foundation of a prosperous society and a developed state, hence every effort related to public health is being given the highest priority.

On this occasion, MLA of Dharsiwa Assembly, Shri Anuj Sharma, said that the need for a modern ambulance had been felt by the local residents for a long time. Keeping this need in mind, this state-of-the-art ambulance has been provided at a cost of approximately Rs 19.65 lakh through the District Mineral Trust Fund (DMF). He said that with the start of this facility, people of the Dharsiwa region will receive emergency medical services faster and more effectively than before.

He informed that this ambulance has been handed over to the Community Health Center, Dharsiwa, from where it will be operated. This service will be available to the local residents twenty-four hours a day. He said that this ambulance will also prove very useful in safely and timely transporting critical patients to referral hospitals.

It is noteworthy that this is an important step towards strengthening health facilities in the Dharsiwa Assembly constituency. This free ambulance, provided through DMF, will provide emergency medical assistance to thousands of citizens in the region, as well as give new strength to the accessibility and quality of health services.
