Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sahay's Good Governance Makes Governance Festival a Pillar of Farmers' Expectations

Raipur, under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sahay, the Su-shasan Festival-2026 conducted in the state has emerged as a strong medium for rapid resolution of public problems and effective implementation of welfare schemes. According to the government's intent, applications received in the district are being resolved on a time-bound basis based on priority, allowing benefits of schemes to reach eligible beneficiaries quickly. In this line, the agricultural department, responding promptly to the demand of farmer Shri Vinay Abhishek Singh of Ushad village in Marwahi development block, provided a modern sowing machine under the government scheme on grant for paddy sowing. Shri Vinay Abhishek Singh had submitted an application at the district-level solution camp of the Su-shasan Festival requesting the provision of a modern sowing machine to make paddy sowing simpler, faster, less labor‑intensive and lower cost. Upon receipt of the application, the agricultural department commenced the necessary process in line with the Chief Minister’s good and sensitive administration style. The department registered the farmer through the CHAMPS system, approved the grant according to eligibility and promptly supplied the modern agricultural equipment. Shri Vinay Abhishek Singh expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister and the state government, stating that the modern sowing machine will enable paddy sowing in less time with higher efficiency and better quality, reducing labor costs, saving time and making farming more scientific and profitable, which he believes will increase crop yield and positively boost his income and economic situation. Deputy Director of Agriculture Shri Satyanjit Kanwar explained that the state government is continuously working to connect farmers with modern agricultural technologies and mechanisation, providing eligible farmers with modern equipment on grant through various schemes to make farming more productive, convenient and profitable. He said that during the Su-shasan Festival, applications are being resolved on a priority basis, ensuring timely delivery of scheme benefits to all eligible beneficiaries including farmers. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sahay, the state government is committed not only to creating schemes but also to delivering their benefits to each eligible beneficiary in a time‑bound manner. Promptly addressing both small and large farmer needs and linking them with modern resources is proving crucial in making agriculture self‑reliant, competitive and profitable, making the Su-shasan Festival an effective example of public trust, transparency and sensitive administration in the state.
