Raipur, May 27, 2025/ On the occasion of Good Governance Tihar, Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai today gifted 24 different development works to the people of Raigarh district at a cost of Rs 330 crore 29 lakh. These include 17 inaugurations costing Rs 220 crore and foundation stone laying of 7 works costing Rs 110 crore.
On the special initiative of the Chief Minister, construction work of many important roads has been completed in Raigarh district. The major works inaugurated by the Chief Minister include widening and renovation work of Raigarh-Dharamjaygarh road at a cost of Rs 93 crore 59 lakh, length 56 km, Punitpathra to Tamnar Milupara road at a cost of Rs 65 crore 19 lakh, length 27.50 km (C.C.Road) length 26 km, Kasdol-Bhaisgarhi-Badgaon of Raigarh district at a cost of Rs 16 crore 92 lakh 37 thousand. Road repair/construction work up to Baralia, length 14.40 km, upgradation of Kodatarai-Pusaur-Surajgarh road at a cost of Rs 8 crore 71 lakh, length 8.30 km, Bade Bhandar-Umariya-Pusaur-Rengalapali road at a cost of Rs 7 crore 95 lakh, length 7.425 km and construction work of the building of the Transport Office in Raigarh district at a cost of Rs 93 lakh 15 thousand was inaugurated.
The Chief Minister laid the foundation stone and laid the foundation stone of the major works, including the construction work of the Integrated Sports Complex building in Raigarh district at a cost of Rs 97 crore 52 lakh, the construction work of Gotma-Kotasura road at a cost of Rs 3 crore 92 lakh, length 3.50 km, the construction work of Gram-Orda at a cost of Rs 2 crore 71 lakh, the construction work of the road from Sha.Pu.Ma.Vi. to Sas.Godam, length 2 km, the construction work of the Ex-Servicemen Welfare Integrated Complex-cum-Medicare Complex Raigarh at a cost of Rs 1 crore 27 lakh and the building construction work of Sha.High School Gersa in Dharamjaygarh development block at a cost of Rs 75 lakh 23 thousand is included.
During this time, Agriculture Minister and in-charge minister of the district Shri Ram Vichar Netam, Finance Minister Shri O.P. Chaudhary, Lok Sabha MP Shri Radheshyam Rathia, Rajya Sabha MP Shri Devendra Pratap Singh, Mayor of Municipal Corporation Shri Jivardhan Chauhan, District Panchayat President Shikha Ravindra Gavel, Chief Secretary Shri Amitabh Jain, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Shri Subodh Kumar Singh, Secretary to the Chief Minister Shri P. Dayanand, Divisional Commissioner Shri Sunil Jain, IG Shri Sanjeev Shukla along with public representatives were present.
