Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai announced that the state government has made numerous historic decisions in the past year and a half, aimed at advancing the state towards comprehensive development and prioritizing public welfare. He expressed confidence that these concrete steps would establish Chhattisgarh as a model for the country. The Chief Minister was speaking at a massive public gathering held at the stadium complex in Nagar Panchayat Dadhi, Bemetara district.
Chief Minister Sai highlighted that the Chhattisgarh government has implemented most of the promises made to the public in a short period. He mentioned that 18 lakh houses have been approved, fulfilling the dream of the poor to own their own homes. Farmers are being provided paddy at a rate of Rs 3100 per quintal, and the pending paddy bonus for the last two years has also been given to them.
He also stated that under the Mahtari Vandan Yojana, aimed at making women self-reliant, 70 lakh women in the state are receiving assistance of Rs 1000 per month, a revolutionary step towards social and economic empowerment. Similarly, Atal Seva Kendras have been established to digitally empower panchayats, making citizen services accessible at the rural level.
On this occasion, he inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 48 development projects worth Rs 102 crore in Bemetara district, including the inauguration of 22 projects worth Rs 35.76 crore and the foundation laying of 26 projects worth Rs 66.91 crore. Chief Minister Sai announced Rs 5 lakh for the construction of CC roads in each of the 20 gram panchayats. At the event, the Chief Minister planted saplings, conveying an environmental message, and also inspected the exhibition set up by various departments. He distributed beneficiary materials to the beneficiaries of various schemes.
Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao announced a major gift for Dadhi Nagar Panchayat, approving Rs 1.25 crore for the construction of an office building. He said that all the schemes of the Chhattisgarh government are made keeping in mind the village, the poor, and the farmers, and improving the lives of these sections is the government’s top priority.
Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh said in his address that the double-engine government in the state is committed to taking Chhattisgarh to new heights of development. He said that bringing positive changes in the lives of villages, the poor, farmers, women, and youth is the direction and vision of our government.
