During his visit to South Korea, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai met with Chairman Lee Jae Jeong and senior officials of the Advanced Technology Center Association (ATCA) in Seoul. ATCA is a robust industrial network comprising over 60 major companies in the IT, electronics, semiconductors, pharma, and textile sectors. ATCA has shown interest in B2B partnerships with companies in Chhattisgarh.
Welcoming the ATCA delegation, Chief Minister Sai stated that the Chhattisgarh government is committed to providing a favorable environment for investors. He invited Lee Jae Jeong and senior officials to visit Chhattisgarh during their upcoming India tour to observe the investment and collaboration opportunities available in the state.
Chief Minister Sai emphasized that Chhattisgarh is rapidly developing, with industry-friendly policies, abundant natural resources, skilled human resources, and a strong infrastructure. He expressed the desire for ATCA companies to invest and establish new partnerships in emerging sectors such as IT, electronics, semiconductors, pharma, and textiles. This would provide large-scale employment for the youth of the region and strengthen local industries.
Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai participated in the Chhattisgarh Investor Connect program held in Seoul during his South Korea visit. The event was organized in collaboration with the Indian Chamber of Commerce in Korea (ICCK). On this occasion, the Chief Minister stated that Chhattisgarh is a land of immense possibilities for South Korean companies. He noted that South Korea is among the top three steel export destinations for India, and Chhattisgarh, being the leading steel-producing state in the country, is ready to deepen this cooperation and provide new investment opportunities.
The Chief Minister highlighted that Chhattisgarh is rich in mineral resources, which are extremely important for the automobile and electronics industries. The state has abundant lithium reserves, which will help accelerate the EV (Electric Vehicle) revolution and new generation industries. He mentioned that Chhattisgarh can become a natural center for global energy transition.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Sai announced the inclusion of ICCK as a knowledge partner and stated that the Chhattisgarh Industrial Policy 2024-30 will provide a new direction to technology, skilling, and global cooperation. He expressed confidence that a new era of development would be written with the confluence of Korea’s innovation capacity and Chhattisgarh’s resources.
The Chief Minister also emphasized that the Chhattisgarh government is providing support to every investor at every level, from single-window clearance to land allocation, necessary permissions, and supportive policies. He expressed confidence that the participation of South Korean companies would create new opportunities in the industrial landscape of Chhattisgarh and take the South Korea-India industrial cooperation to new heights.
