CM Vishnu Dev Says Women’s Economic Empowerment Remains Top Priority

Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai emphasized that the empowerment, respect, and self‑reliance of women are core priorities for the Chhattisgarh government. Speaking at the ‘Seva Setu’ ceremony in Durg, he noted that genuine progress for any society is only possible when women are strong both economically and socially.

The CM highlighted that the Mahtari Vandan Yojana not only provides financial security but also boosts women’s confidence and decision‑making abilities. By channeling funds directly into beneficiaries’ bank accounts, the scheme removes intermediaries and ensures that the intended support reaches women promptly.
