Chhattisgarh is witnessing a gradual increase in COVID-19 cases. According to the latest report released by the State’s Corona Control and Demand Center, 12 new COVID-19 positive patients have been confirmed in the state. Simultaneously, 15 patients have fully recovered and have been discharged.
Raipur has reported the highest number of new cases, with 6 new patients. Additionally, 4 infections have been reported from Bilaspur and 2 from Durg district. To date, 45 infected patients in the state have recovered from the virus.
The state currently has a total of 42 active COVID-19 cases. Of these, 35 patients are in home isolation and without any serious symptoms. Six patients are admitted in general wards and are undergoing treatment. One patient’s condition is reported to be critical and is admitted to the ICU.
The Chhattisgarh Health Department has appealed to the public to get tested immediately if they experience symptoms such as cold, cough, fever, or respiratory problems. The department has clarified that there is no need to panic at present, but caution is extremely important.
