Delhi Stays Clear While Surrounding States Brace for Torrential Rain

The capital city of Delhi is forecast to enjoy mostly clear skies today, with temperatures hovering between 24 °C and 35 °C. The IMD predicts that the clear weather will persist through tomorrow, with only a thin veil of clouds expected on September 25. However, the city should prepare for possible thunderstorms and rain on the 27th and 28th as the monsoon system moves closer.

Neighbouring states are not as fortunate. Punjab and Haryana will see limited rain activity, while Rajasthan remains largely dry. In contrast, Madhya Pradesh is expected to experience increased rain activity, especially in its eastern districts, where heavy showers could occur on the 23rd, 24th and 27th. The western part of the state may face strong gusts and thunderstorms.

Overall, Delhi’s short‑term outlook remains pleasant, but the surrounding regions are gearing up for a wet spell that could bring localized flooding and strong winds.
