Instructions given to ensure broad public participation

Various events will be held from September 17 to October 17

Raipur. September 11, 2026. Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Arun Sao reviewed the preparations for the 'Seva Sankalp Abhiyan' in Dantewada today. He instructed to give a broad shape to this campaign, to be held from September 17 to October 17, with public participation. He said that the programs organized under the campaign should not be limited only to the district headquarters, but should be effectively organized at the Janpad, Tehsil, Nagar Panchayat, and Gram Panchayat levels.

Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Sao emphasized ensuring the active participation of public representatives, social organizations, educational institutions, self-help groups, youth, women, and senior citizens. He took information about the departmental preparations and instructed for the timely implementation and regular monitoring of all programs. Under the campaign, various activities will be organized including 'Ashirwad ka Diya', 'Seva ki Kahani', 'Namo Seva Gatha', 'Aangan ka Utsav', 'Seva Jyoti Kalash Yatra', 'Seva Mera Yogdan', 'Jal Jan Seva Sankalp', and 'Seva Setu Abhiyan-Sarkar Aapke Dwar'. There will also be drawing and speech competitions in schools, nutrition awareness programs at Anganwadi centers, and activities related to sanitation and public service.

Collector Mr. Devesh Dhruva, while giving information about the preparations for the campaign in the district, said that meetings are being organized at various levels to prepare a day-wise and date-wise outline of programs for broad public participation. The Deputy Chief Minister directed continuous monitoring of preparations by regularly reviewing with all departments. He said that the 'Seva Sankalp Abhiyan' should not just be a series of government programs, but an opportunity to strengthen the resolve for service, dedication, and developed India-2047 through public participation. DFO Mr. Ramakrishna Ranganatha Y. and Additional Collector Mr. Rajesh Patra, along with district-level officers of all departments, were present at the review meeting.
