District Level 'Shala Praveshotsav' to be celebrated in Dhamtari tomorrow: Minister Shri Tank Ram Verma to inaugurate

Raipur, With the aim of grand and enthusiastic inauguration of Chhattisgarh's new academic session, a dignified district-level 'Shala Praveshotsav' is being organized tomorrow, July 30, at 11 AM in Maratha Mangal Bhavan, Dhamtari. Textbooks and school uniforms will be distributed to the students. Under the Saraswati Cycle Scheme, eligible girl students will be handed over free bicycles for self-reliance and easy commuting. The chief guest of the program will be the state's Minister for Revenue and Disaster Management, Relief and Higher Education and in-charge Minister of Dhamtari district, Shri Tankram Verma.
Starting with tree plantation, materials to be distributed with warm welcome
The Praveshotsav will begin with a tree plantation campaign, conveying the message of greenery and environmental protection. After this, the newly admitted little ones stepping on the school threshold will be welcomed with a tilak and a warm embrace. During this time, many gifts will be given to the children under the public welfare schemes of the government. Similarly, assistive devices/materials will be distributed to specially-abled students according to their convenience.
Honoring talents, colorful cultural presentations, and 'Nyota Bhoj'
In the program, the district's bright talents who have excelled in academic, sports, cultural, and other co-curricular activities will be awarded and honored by the chief guest. Colorful cultural programs presented by the students will be the main center of attraction at the ceremony.
Special 'Nyota Bhoj' organized for children
The 'Nyota Bhoj' specially organized for children will make their new school life memorable. This will instill a sense of belonging, joy, and new confidence in the children towards the school. The district administration and education department have appealed to all editors, public representatives, parents, teachers, distinguished citizens, and the general public to encourage the children by attending in large numbers.
