Raipur, Chhattisgarh's Cooperative Minister Shri Kedar Kashyap held an important review meeting with the objective of giving new momentum to the cooperative movement in the state and making banking services more effective. The meeting, held at his residence office in Nava Raipur, was attended by the Chairpersons and senior officials of Chhattisgarh Apex Bank and District Cooperative Central Banks.

Detailed discussion on expansion of digital banking services

Special emphasis was placed on providing better, transparent, and modern banking facilities to the farmers of the state. Minister Shri Kashyap gave strict instructions to ensure that the benefits of the government's welfare schemes reach the eligible beneficiaries with full transparency and on time. A detailed discussion was held on improving the working of cooperative banks and expanding digital banking services. Various suggestions were discussed regarding making cooperative institutions more effective, accountable, and people-oriented.

He called upon all bank chairpersons, office bearers, and officials to work with better coordination among themselves, so that the cooperative sector of the state can become more empowered and public-welfare oriented.
