Raipur, The Chhattisgarh government has taken a very important and sensitive step towards providing a clean, dignified, and convenient educational environment for girls in rural areas. As a result of the special efforts of Revenue Minister Shri Tank Ram Verma, financial and administrative approval has been granted for an amount of Rs 3.50 crore for the construction of girls' toilets in government schools of 50 Gram Panchayats in Tilda development block. This gift, approved from the District Mineral Foundation Trust fund, will give new dimensions to girls' education in the region and further strengthen the cleanliness campaign on the ground.
Modern Girls' Toilets to be Built at a Cost of Rs 7 Lakh Per Unit Approved Under DMF Fund On this significant achievement, Revenue Minister Shri Tank Ram Verma said that our government is fully committed to the self-respect, better health, and quality education of daughters. Lack of basic facilities in rural schools often hindered the education of girls. These modern girls' toilets, to be built in 50 schools in Tilda block at a cost of Rs 7 lakh per unit approved from the DMF fund, are not just a construction project but the foundation of our daughters' dignity and their bright future. This flow of development will continue uninterrupted.
Toilets to be Built in These 50 Villages of Tilda Block As per the administrative approval, 01-01 girls' toilet will be constructed in the schools of all 50 Gram Panchayats. Under this scheme, the schools selected in 50 villages of Tilda Janpad area include Chhapora, Kohka, Moharenga, Khauna, Aalesur, Kota, Boirjheeti, Alda, Manpur, Ilda, Satbhawa, Sarora, and Bimbhauri. Similarly, modern girls' toilets will be constructed in the government schools of Motimpur Kala, Saguni, Khapridih Khurd (Chingariya), Otgan, Sarfonga, Chhatoud, Janjgeera, Rajia, Bhadha, Budera, Khamariya (Konari), Champa, Sinodha, Bharuwadih Kala, Khairkhoont (Balodikhurd), and Jalso. Modern girls' toilets will be constructed in the government schools of Sararidih, Chhachhanpairi, Kirana, Tulsi (A), Mudpar, Nahardih, Kumhari, Lakhna Khaprikala, Mura, Tarashiv, Asouda, Keshla, Budgahan (Sundara), Bhilauni, Kathia, Bithiya, Ghiwra, Dhansuli, Tulsi Manpur, and Kundru.
Wave of Enthusiasm in the Region The approval of development works worth Rs 3.50 crore in primary and secondary schools of 50 villages simultaneously has created great enthusiasm among the villagers, schoolgirls, and parents of the entire Tilda region. Public representatives have called it a historic step and expressed their gratitude to Revenue Minister Shri Tank Ram Verma. Minister Shri Verma has issued clear instructions to the officials that these should be completed within the stipulated time frame without compromising on the quality of construction.
