Chhattisgarh Dial-112 Phase-2 Next Generation brings a major gift to Raigarh district All emergency services including police, medical, fire, disaster management, women and child safety now available on a single number 112 Police response in emergency situations will be faster with vehicles equipped with modern technology Raigarh, May 20, 2026/ In a move to further strengthen security, service, and good governance, Raigarh district has received a gift of 16 state-of-the-art Emergency Response Vehicles (ERVs) under Chhattisgarh Dial-112 (Phase-2 Next Generation). Finance Minister Shri OP Chaudhary flagged off these modern emergency vehicles today at a program organized at the old police line, Raigarh. On this occasion, Finance Minister Shri Chaudhary said that the state government is fully committed to the safety and quick assistance of citizens. Raigarh residents will now receive faster, safer, and more effective assistance in case of any crisis, including road accidents, medical emergencies, and the safety of women and children. He said that this service is being operated across Chhattisgarh with the concept of "Dial-112, One Number, For All". More than 400 modern vehicles have been deployed across the state, out of which 16 vehicles have been provided to Raigarh district. Law and Order Will Be Strengthened Finance Minister Shri OP Chaudhary said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, the state government has provided adequate budget to modernize and make the police system effective. This will increase the efficiency of the police, reduce response time in emergency situations, and further strengthen law and order. He said that this scheme is a visible result on the ground of major government decisions, which will facilitate the work of the police and directly benefit the common citizens. New Vehicles Equipped with State-of-the-Art Facilities Senior Superintendent of Police Shri Shashi Mohan Singh informed that the Dial-112 scheme has been operational since 2018, and it has now been expanded to all 33 districts of the state under Phase-2 Next Generation. He informed that the new ERV vehicles are equipped with modern technology such as PTZ camera, dash camera, GPS system, Mobile Data Terminal (MDT), and smart mobile phones, which will ensure quick and effective action at the scene of the incident. All Emergency Services Now on a Single Number Under the new Dial-112 system, police, ambulance, fire brigade, disaster management, child helpline, women helpline, and National Highway assistance services have been integrated. These services will be operated through the state-of-the-art Command and Control Center (C4) located in Raipur. The program was attended by Mayor Shri Jeevardhan Chauhan, Collector Shri Mayank Chaturvedi, Zila Panchayat CEO Shri Abhijit Bahan Pathare, along with public representatives, police officers, and staff.
