Former Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has filed a petition in the Supreme Court to avoid arrest. The move comes after his name surfaced in cases related to liquor, coal, and the Mahadev betting app. Baghel has requested anticipatory bail, challenging the powers and jurisdiction of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and the Enforcement Directorate (ED). He seeks protection from arrest and an opportunity to cooperate in the investigations. The Supreme Court is scheduled to hear the matter on Monday.
