Four Police Officers and Driver Seriously Hurt After Vehicle Collision in Kondagaon

On the morning of 24 August 2026, a Scorpio truck travelling on NH-30 collided with a convoy led by Chhattisgarh Forest Minister Kedar Kashyap near Ghodegaon, Kondagaon. After the initial side-impact on the minister’s car, the out-of-control vehicle struck the following escort vehicle, causing severe injuries to four police officers riding inside and the escort driver. Rescue personnel reached the location within minutes, providing medical assistance and arranging for rapid transport to the hospital.
