A girlfriend called her boyfriend asking for a ride home, stating she had too many groceries. Unbeknownst to her, accepting this ride would lead to a horrific fate. The boyfriend, with malicious intent, picked her up on his motorcycle and headed towards a forest. When she inquired about their destination, he simply told her to get off the bike.
Without hesitation, the girlfriend dismounted. At that moment, two of the boyfriend’s associates appeared. The three men forced her deeper into the forest, where they took turns gang-raping her. Despite her screams, the assailants did not stop. She cried out, vowing to report them to the police, threatening to have them imprisoned. Enraged, they beat her severely and then strangled her with a scarf, ending her life.
The perpetrators then placed her body in a sack, tied it tightly, and disposed of it in a water-filled drain. This heart-wrenching incident occurred in Korba, Chhattisgarh. When the victim did not return home, her family grew worried. Three days later, they filed a missing person report at the local police station, explaining that their 35-year-old daughter had gone to buy groceries and never came back. The police took the matter seriously and launched an investigation.
**Skeleton Found After 24 Days**
The police detained 45-year-old Umendra Prasad Binjhia, after discovering he was last seen with the missing woman. Under interrogation, Umendra confessed to the crime, revealing that he, along with two friends, Santram (28), and Gulam Singh, had gang-raped his girlfriend and then murdered her. Based on the accused’s information, the police recovered the victim’s skeleton 24 days later. The body had decomposed.

Umendra stated during questioning that on July 28th, his girlfriend called him, asking for a ride home. He took her to the forest, where he and his two friends committed the heinous act. Currently, one of Umendra’s accomplices has been arrested, while the third suspect remains at large. The search for the remaining perpetrator continues.
