Good News for CG Employees: Short-Term Loans Available Against Salary; Entire Process to be Online

Raipur, April 03, 2026. Providing significant relief to government employees, the Chhattisgarh government has launched a new facility for short-term loans. Employees will now be able to easily obtain an advance amount based on their salary during times of need. The Finance Department has issued an order in this regard.

In accordance with the decision taken by the Council of Ministers on September 30, 2025, this system has been implemented across the entire state effective March 16, 2026. Through this scheme, employees can avail of a loan against their salary at any time during an emergency situation.

A key highlight of this scheme is that the entire process will be digital. The disbursement and management of loans will be conducted in a secure manner, in compliance with the guidelines of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), thereby ensuring both transparency and security.

Refyne Tech Private Limited has been designated as the service provider for the implementation of this scheme. The Finance Department has also issued a detailed Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for this purpose, outlining the entire process from the submission of the application to the receipt of the funds.
