In Jagdalpur, at the divisional-level Nuakhai Milan Samaroh and the inauguration of the newly constructed social building “Olek” within the Forest School premises, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai made several significant announcements concerning tribal development. He stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi initiated the Dharti Aba Gram Utkarsh Yojana to uplift villages with a large tribal population, with a provision of 80,000 crore rupees. Furthermore, the Prime Minister Janman Yojana has been launched for particularly backward tribes to integrate them into the mainstream. The Chief Minister also declared the sanctioning of 75 lakh rupees for the construction of domes at five locations for the Dhurwa community. He assured that the proposals submitted by 36 sarpanches of the community for village panchayat development would be approved. On this occasion, the Chief Minister offered prayers to Maa Danteshwari and paid respects to the heroic leader of the Dhurwa community, Shaheed Gundadhur. He emphasized that the Nuakhai Milan Samaroh symbolizes our culture and tradition and must be preserved for future generations. Sai highlighted the crucial role of the Special Tribal Area Development Authority for the Bastar and Sarguja divisions. Additionally, under the Niyad Nellanar Yojana, basic facilities like roads, bridges, electricity, water, housing, and rations are being provided in Maoist-affected areas. Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma, Forest Minister Kedar Kashyap, MP Mahesh Kashyap, MLA Kiran Dev, and several other public representatives were present. Officials of the Dhurwa community gave a traditional welcome to the Chief Minister and other guests at the event.
