Governor Shri Deka pays tribute to former Prime Minister Shri Vajpayee on his death anniversary

Raipur, August 16, 2025/Today, on the death anniversary of Bharat Ratna, the late Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee, former Prime Minister of India, Governor Shri Ramen Deka paid him a heartfelt tribute. He said that Shri Vajpayee was a personality of great stature, a great orator, a people's leader, as well as respected among all parties.

Governor Shri Deka said that Shri Vajpayee Ji's contribution towards establishing good governance in the country is unprecedented. In his memory, Good Governance Day is celebrated every year on December 25. Referring to Shri Vajpayee's contribution to establishing India on the world stage, he said that by strongly advocating for India on foreign and international forums, he enhanced the country's prestige.

On this occasion, the Governor's Secretary Dr. C.R. Prasanna, Deputy Secretary Smt. Nidhi Sahu and other officers and employees of Raj Bhavan also offered floral tributes.
