On the special occasion of Teachers’ Day, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai launched the Mission Space and Project Jai Vigyan campaigns from the Chief Minister’s residence complex to raise awareness of space science among schoolchildren. During the event, two significant agreements were signed between the Raipur district administration and the IGNITING DREAMS OF YOUNG MINDS FOUNDATION, as well as between the Raipur district administration and VIGYAN BHARTI, which will provide children with important information on space-related topics.
Chief Minister Sai congratulated and extended his best wishes to Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla for his successful space journey. He paid his respects to the role of teachers and wished everyone a Happy Teachers’ Day. Appreciating the special initiative of the district administration, Chief Minister Sai said that these agreements aim to develop a scientific approach in school students and increase their curiosity and enthusiasm for science.
Chief Minister Sai said that science is not limited to laboratories, but it is a way of life. Science provides the power to ask questions, to reason, and the ability to find solutions to problems. He expressed confidence that the workshops, science exhibitions, competitions, and innovative projects organized under Project Jai Vigyan will give students an opportunity to learn new things and build confidence.
Space traveler Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla said that it is his responsibility to pass on the opportunities that the country has provided him to future generations. He expressed his special gratitude to Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai for his initiative, which made such meaningful programs possible. When the head of the state gives importance to events related to science and education, it has a positive impact on the entire state, and it inspires children to reach new heights.
