A deeply distressing incident has occurred in Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi, Chhattisgarh, where a young man tragically died after being hit by a train. When people passing by noticed his body on the railway track on Monday morning, they informed the police.
According to reports, Babulal Kol, a resident of Khairjiti village in the district, was a laborer in a factory in Andhra Pradesh. He was returning home after work when his body was found on the railway track this morning. The victim’s head was severed in the accident and found away from the tracks. Police are investigating the case after receiving information. Currently, the Gaurela police are investigating the matter from both angles: murder and suicide. A sad aspect of this incident is that several trains passed over the body while it lay on the railway track.
Anjana Kerketta, the station in-charge of Gaurela police station, stated that initial investigations suggest that the man may have taken his own life due to distress he had been experiencing over the past few days. The Gaurela police are investigating the matter. A post-mortem has been ordered after the panchnama (site inspection) was conducted.
