IIIT Ranchi Organizes Scholarship Awareness Program 2026

The Scholarship Section of the Indian Institute of Information Technology Ranchi successfully organized a one-day "Scholarship Awareness Program 2026" for newly admitted students. The objective of the program was to provide information about available scholarship opportunities to eligible students and to offer them the necessary guidance to avail these benefits.

During the program, students were informed about various scholarship schemes offered by the Central Government, State Government, and private organizations. Important information regarding eligibility criteria, financial benefits, required documents, application procedures, and selection processes was shared. Students also received practical guidance on the scholarship application and verification process.

The program was organized under the guidance of Prof. Rajeev Srivastava, Director, IIIT Ranchi. The coordination and leadership of the program were done by the Scholarship In-charge - Dr. Priyabrata Garnayak, with special support from Dr. Akash Srivastava and Dr. Amit Kumar Singh.

Scholarship student coordinators, many of whom are beneficiaries of various scholarship schemes themselves, also shared their experiences with the newly admitted students. Their experiences provided students with practical insights into the application process and the benefits of different scholarship schemes.

The Scholarship Awareness Program is a regular initiative of IIIT Ranchi, which has been organized for the past four years. The program has received an encouraging response from the students. During the last academic session, the Scholarship Section of IIIT Ranchi recommended over 300 scholarship applications under various schemes.

Through this continuous initiative, IIIT Ranchi is collaborating to increase awareness among students about scholarship opportunities and to help eligible students access available financial assistance.
