Important Announcement: Liquor Shops to be Closed in Chhattisgarh on Gandhi Jayanti

An important announcement has been made for liquor consumers in Chhattisgarh. The state government has declared a dry day for October 2nd, coinciding with Gandhi Jayanti, for the fiscal year 2025-26. Consequently, Collector Vinay Kumar Langeh has issued an order to close all retail liquor stores, including domestic, foreign, composite, and premium liquor shops, as well as FL-3 Sapna Bar & Restaurant, and liquor warehouses in the district. All transactions related to alcohol will be prohibited on this day.
