*Important role of Devangan society in the development of Chhattisgarh: Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai*
*The Chief Minister appealed to the people of the society to participate in the construction of developed Chhattisgarh in the Mahakumbh of Devangan society*
Raipur, June 01, 2025/ Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, while addressing the Mahakumbh of Devangan society at Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium Raipur today, said that the Devangan society is a hardworking and prosperous society. People of the society are playing an important role in the development of Chhattisgarh as advanced farmers and businessmen. This society is not only at the forefront in farming and business, but is also educated and organized. People of the society have shown their dominance in all fields like education, culture, art, agriculture, business. He said that the society should play an important role in realizing the vision of a developed Chhattisgarh.
The Chief Minister further said that the country is developing under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Modi’s guarantee means the guarantee is fulfilled. The government has almost fulfilled the promises made in the last one and a half years. As soon as the government was formed, the approval of more than 18 lakh houses was approved in Chhattisgarh. In Chhattisgarh, money is being given to women through Mahtari Vandan for women empowerment. Due to this, women are becoming self-reliant and are increasing their income through works like sewing-embroidery-vegetable production.
Chief Minister said that the government organized the statewide good governance festival for the demands, complaints and suggestions of the common people. In this good governance festival, the ministers and high officials of the government went among the public and listened to the demands, problems and suggestions and resolved them. In the good governance festival, information was taken about the implementation of the schemes by interacting with the people by going to the remote forest areas as well as the plains areas. I have visited all the 33 districts of Chhattisgarh in the good governance festival. Monitoring of the schemes at the ground level. Feedback was taken from the public. More than 41 lakh applications were received in the good governance festival held in three phases, which have been resolved. We have succeeded in establishing good governance in the state. The government is closing all the ways of corruption to develop the state and provide equal opportunities to all.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the government is also moving forward rapidly in the direction of administrative transparency and digital governance. Now, the facility of transfer after the registration of land has been made available immediately, which has brought relief to the general public. Most of the work is being done online to prevent corruption.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the industry policy implemented in the state is being appreciated all over the country. More than Rs 5.5 lakh crore investment proposals have been received in the state. Currently, the construction work of the semiconductor plant in Nava Raipur has also started. Along with the establishment of industries in the state, arrangements have been made for skill training for the youth of the state. This will provide employment opportunities for the local youth.
The program was also addressed by Industry Minister Shri Lakhan Lal Dewangan, MLA Shri Kiran Dev. Shri Pradeep Dewangan, State President of Devangan Society, highlighted the objectives of the Devangan Mahakumbh in the welcome address. The Devangan Mahakumbh book was released in the program. On this occasion, MLA Shri Moti Lal Sahu, Shri Purandar Mishra, office bearers of the society and a large number of people were present.
