ISRO scientists visited District Science Center Dantewada

ISRO scientists visited the District Science Center Dantewada Appreciation of the ongoing innovation initiative for scientific activities and students Raipur, senior scientist Professor Anand of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) and his expert team visited the District Science Center, Dantewada and observed the scientific and educational activities being conducted there. The team inspected the space gallery, physics gallery, mining gallery, various science exhibits, working models, and the ‘Learn by Doing’ activities organized for students. The scientists appreciated the initiative of the district administration and the science center to develop scientific thinking among children from remote tribal areas. They said that the science center is performing an important role in connecting children to science through experiments and practical activities. The ISRO team also praised the efforts of the center head Upendra Gautam and his team. The scientists described the regular educational tours, ‘Jugaad from Scrap’ science activities, and astronomy-based documentary screenings organized at the center as effective initiatives to increase scientific curiosity among students. They said such activities inspire children to advance in the fields of science, space research, and innovation. At the end of the visit, the science center management expressed gratitude to the ISRO scientists. The arrival of the ISRO team created an atmosphere of enthusiasm among the center’s students, teachers, and youth interested in science.
