Following the discovery of Madhya Pradesh’s Katni’s Archana Tiwari by the police, another young woman has mysteriously disappeared. This time, it’s Jyoti from Betul district, who also vanished after boarding a train. Her parents and family have been searching for her for three days, but their efforts have been fruitless so far.
According to reports, the 20-year-old, residing in Kherwara village of the Athner police station area, left Raipur three days ago to return home. However, she has yet to arrive. Her family is deeply worried and has been trying to find her. They filed a report at the police station on Tuesday.
Jyoti had been working at a private company in Raipur for the past two months and lived in a hostel. On Sunday, she called her brother between 11 AM and 12 PM, informing him that she was taking a train to Betul. Her mobile phone went off around 3 PM, and since then, her family has been unable to contact her.
Jyoti’s family contacted her friends and colleagues, who confirmed that she had indeed left for home by train on Sunday morning. However, she neither reached home nor returned to the hostel. She should have reached Betul on Monday morning.
Her concerned family reported the matter at the Athner police station on Tuesday evening after her phone remained switched off and no information was found. The police have initiated a search operation for the young woman, investigating railway stations, surrounding areas, and other possible locations. The family’s worries have increased due to the lack of any information for three days. They state that their daughter has always kept in touch while traveling to and from home, but the sudden disconnection and lack of news is a serious cause for concern.
