Nitin Namdev, Raipur. The emerging players of Chhattisgarh have once again got their talent ironed at the national level. In the Khelo India Youth Games 2025 (Khelo India Youth Games 2025) held from 4 to 15 May in various cities of Bihar, Patna, Rajgir, Gaya, Bhagalpur and Begusarai, the state players performed brilliantly and won a total of 14 medals. These medals include 3 gold, 1 silver and 10 bronze.
Khelo India Youth Games is a national competition to be held every year under the Flagship Scheme of the Central Government. This year it included 26 sports and 1 demo game. Thousands of young players from all over the country participated in it.
A 135 -member team from Chhattisgarh participated, including 106 players and 29 support staff. State players showed their stamina in 15 games such as Gatka, Kalariyptu, swimming, badminton, judo, rugby, facing, weightlifting, Thangata, Malkhamb, kabaddi, wrestling, basketball, shooting and boxing. 18 players of the state won the name of Chhattisgarh by winning medals in 8 sports disciplines.
