Raipur December 3, 2025/ Taking another significant step towards making administrative processes simple, transparent, and swift under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, Revenue Minister Shri Tankaram Verma launched the e-Gazette Online Portal at the Secretariat. Secretary of the Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Smt. Reena Babasaheb Kangale, was present on the occasion.
Through the e-Gazette Online Portal, all government departments and orders, notifications, ordinances, and other published materials issued by District Collectors will now be sent directly in online manuscript form to the Director, Printing and Stationery Department, from where the Government Press will publish it online as an e-Gazette.
Under this new system developed by the Revenue and Disaster Management Department, the entire process of gazette publication will now be conducted digitally. Previously, the process of sending manuscripts from departments and district offices to the press was time-consuming and resource-intensive, which has now been made fully online. Through the new e-Gazette portal, departments will directly upload their orders and notifications, and the published gazette will also be available online for everyone.
The implementation of the e-Gazette system will bring about a notable acceleration in notification publication-related work. The digital platform will not only simplify processes but also strengthen the government’s e-governance policies by making the work completely paperless. Online publication of gazettes will also make transparency, accessibility, and record management more effective.
This initiative by the Chhattisgarh government is a major step towards digital governance, swift decision-making, and enhancing administrative efficiency in the state. With the launch of the e-Gazette portal, gazette publication will now be available in a more accessible, timely, and modern format.
