Lord Shiva Shankar and Kartikeya's fierce form to be seen in Rathore Chowk's Shri Navnirman Ganeshotsav Samiti

Like every year, this year too, Raipur's oldest and most famous committee, Shri Navnirman Ganeshotsav Samiti, is ready to showcase its splendor. The committee has been presenting tableaux during immersion for many years. This time, the immersion and tableau will be on Sunday, 27/09/26, which attracts a crowd of thousands every year.

Committee patron Shri Ashu Rathore states that this time, a tableau built on three jeeps will showcase the fierce form of Lord Shiva Shankar and Kartikeya, where they will be seen in a great battle with the giant demon Tarakasur. Preparations for its construction began in February 2026. Ashu Rathore mentions that previously, this committee from Rathore Chowk has presented tableaux depicting Lord Hanuman, Radha-Krishna's Rasleela, Kans's Vadh, Krishna playing Holi, Matki Phod, Sai Baba, Shiva's procession, Lav-Kush, Shubh-Labh, Surya Dev's glory, and stories of many other deities.

Committee has won many awards - Committee secretary Yash Rathore informs that the committee has been honored with many titles and awards over the years. Even when tableaux were made in only a few places in Raipur, the Navnirman committee from Rathore Chowk has been making tableaux and has maintained its dominance. The tableau starts after the Aarti at Manokamna Hanuman Mandir at 8 PM, followed by the Aarti of Lord Ganesha, after which the procession begins.

Committee members are deployed for arrangements - All arrangements are planned in advance by the committee members, with special contributions from all members. The committee is 58 years old, which is why experienced members do not face difficulties in arrangements, and this event is made successful with the cooperation of the traffic police.
