Significant alterations have been implemented by the railway authorities concerning the general ticket system at Raipur Railway Station. The existing general ticket counters, previously situated within the station building, are being relocated to the reservation center. To compensate for this change, the railway has introduced alternative methods for obtaining general tickets. These include the deployment of eight ATVMs (Automatic Ticket Vending Machines) and mobile ticketing services within the station premises. According to current information, two counters will continue to operate within the station for the next two days. Following this period, these counters will also be relocated. Railway officials have indicated that passengers will be able to access both reserved and unreserved ticket services within the railway reservation center building. Individuals requiring unreserved tickets can obtain them from the railway reservation center building. The center will have four counters operational in the morning, five in the evening, and three during the night.
