In a significant achievement in the anti-Naxal operation, the Chhattisgarh Police have apprehended two female Naxalites. The individuals, identified as Paro Hapka and Sunita alias Sangeeta Mandavi, were active members of the Kutul LOS (Local Operating Squad) of the Maoist Mad Division. The arrests were made in the Kohkameta police station area. They were involved in expanding the ‘Jantana Sarkar,’ recruiting youth, propagating Maoist ideology, and plotting attacks against the police. Law enforcement also seized a large cache of weapons and explosive materials during the operation. Recovered items included a 12-bore BGL launcher gun, two BGL bombs, one tiffin bomb, a detonator, 24 pencil cells, and various electronic devices. The police operation is considered a major success in the Naxal-affected region.
