Minister Mrs. Lakshmi Rajwade's efforts will bring electricity expansion to 97 villages. 11.62 crore rupees cost will bring electricity to remote and tribal areas. Raipur / Under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, the state government is prioritizing the expansion of basic facilities in rural and tribal areas. In this direction, through the special efforts of Women and Child Development and Social Welfare Minister and Bhatgaon Assembly MLA Mrs. Lakshmi Rajwade, under the ‘Dharti Aba Tribal Village Utkarshe Campaign’, electricity expansion work has been approved for 97 villages in the Bhatgaon Assembly constituency. With an approved project cost of about 11.62 crore rupees, electricity facilities will be provided to remote villages and localities of Surajpur district, benefiting thousands of rural families. According to information obtained from the state administration, the approved work will extend electricity to about 109 hamlets/paras in 36 villages of Bhaiyathan development block, about 68 hamlets/paras in 32 villages of Odgi development block, and about 53 hamlets/paras in 29 villages of Surajpur development block. This project is considered especially important for those rural and tribal settlements where adequate electricity facilities were not available until now. The arrival of electricity will promote children's studies, household work, drinking water arrangements, agriculture-based activities and rural self-employment. Minister Mrs. Lakshmi Rajwade said that the state government's aim is to bring the light of development to the farthest corners. She expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, saying that this approval will give new momentum to the social and economic development of the Bhatgaon Assembly. She said, "Reaching every house and every courtyard with electricity is among the state government's priorities. This will bring positive changes in rural life and realize new development possibilities in tribal areas."
