The Meteorological Department has issued alerts for moderate to heavy rainfall in several states today. Strong winds, gusting at 40 to 50 kilometers per hour, are also expected. Warnings have been issued for thunderstorms and lightning in several areas. In the capital city, Delhi, the monsoon appears to have taken a break. However, the weather department forecasts rain and thunderstorms for today. The sky is expected to remain cloudy tomorrow, with thunderstorms and light to moderate rainfall at night. Cloudy skies and moderate rainfall are predicted for June 30th and July 1st.
Heavy rainfall is expected in 36 districts of Uttar Pradesh today. From today until July 2nd, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, and eastern Rajasthan may experience heavy rainfall in some areas. Rain is expected in western Rajasthan and Jammu and Kashmir from today until tomorrow. The Meteorological Department has also forecast rain in Uttar Pradesh from today until July 2nd, with heavy rainfall expected in 36 districts today.

Heavy rainfall is expected in Uttarakhand from today until June 30th. Rain is expected in Punjab today and tomorrow. Moderate to heavy rainfall is expected in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, and Jharkhand from today until July 2nd. Rainfall is expected in West Bengal, Sikkim, and Bihar from today until June 30th. Heavy rainfall may occur in East Madhya Pradesh on June 30th and July 1st, while very heavy rainfall is expected in West Madhya Pradesh on July 1st and 2nd.
