Research and investigation on the tribes of Chhattisgarh have opened up. A significant Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) has been signed between Guru Ghasidas Central University and the Tribal Research & Knowledge Centre (TRKC) of New Delhi. This agreement paves the way for students to conduct high-level research on the glorious traditions, culture, and socio-economic structures of the state’s tribes. The MOU was signed by the Registrar, Prof. Abhay S Randive, on behalf of the university, and Mr. Rajiv Sharma, the Chhattisgarh in-charge from TRKC. Under the agreement, research will be conducted on the tribes residing in Chhattisgarh for the next three years. The event was attended by several professors, researchers, students, and dignitaries.
