Mountain States Brace for Storms as Temperatures Drop

The western Himalayas are experiencing a sharp fall in temperature as monsoon clouds combine with strong winds. In Uttarakhand, a large part of the state expects heavy rain and possible hail from today through September 12. Himachal Pradesh reports heavy showers across districts such as Mandi, Chamba, and Solan. Jammu & Kashmir also faces a warning for heavy rain and strong gusts. These conditions are expected to cause rapid cooling in the hill belts.
