Raipur, June 20, 2025 // With willpower, empathy, and inclusive policies, we have started a new beginning of change in Bastar. The self-confidence of the youth of Bastar is our inspiration, and together we will build a new Bastar. You all have seen the capital Raipur for the first time, you are all welcome here and may your journey be pleasant and memorable. Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai was today interacting with a team of 96 young men and women from the Niyad Nella Nar Gram Panchayats of Bijapur district, which is far-flung and affected by Naxalism, at his residence.
The Chief Minister said that the state government is opening a new path of peace and development in the Naxal-affected areas through schemes like ‘Niyad Nella Nar’. He said that you are the future of Chhattisgarh and with the participation of all of you, we will take the Bastar region and the state forward. Shri Sai said that by joining the ‘Niyad Nella Nar’ scheme, not only is the picture of the villages changing, but the youth are also getting self-reliance and a respectable life. The Chief Minister told the youth that our government is engaged in establishing peace and order in your area and Union Minister Shri Amit Shah has decided to eradicate Naxalism from its roots by March 2026. He said that Maoists do not want development in your area, but we will remove all the obstacles coming in the way of development. The morale of Bastar is giving us the energy to eradicate evils like Naxalism from the root.
The Chief Minister said that your area is rich in natural beauty, with dense forests, enchanting waterfalls and high mountains. The land there is fertile and good farming is done. Our government is working to provide water facility to you to make farming prosperous. Shri Sai said that all of you should promote farming and the students should study diligently and get good education. Your cooperation in the development of the state is very important for us. He mentioned events like ‘Bastar Olympics’ and ‘Bastar Pandum’ and said that these are the expression of the soul of Bastar. The participation of thousands of youth, women and children in these events has given the world the message that Bastar is now moving towards a new era. We will continue to work together to preserve the art, culture and heritage of Bastar. Today, the people of Bastar have shown that they want peace and development, not violence. He said that the land of Bastar has been a symbol of bravery, patience and self-respect and now we will all take it forward on the path of development and prosperity. The Chief Minister said that the government is committed to giving every youth a new opportunity through various government schemes, skill training, sports and education.
Shri Sai appealed to the youth to join the mainstream and become the agents of change in the society and participate in the construction of a strong, safe and prosperous Bastar.

The youth who reached the capital from the remote villages of Bijapur district had an open dialogue with Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai. The youth not only shared their experiences but also talked about their dreams and resolutions. They said that we want to improve our lives by walking on the path of education, sports, skills and service. Bastar has to be changed, and we want to be a part of this change. The youth said that the ‘Niyad Nella Nar’ scheme has given them a new identity and direction.
